Beyonce to Remove Offensive Word From New Song

PHILADELPHIA - Beyonce has removed a word from her new song, "Heated," which is considered offensive in some circles. The term describes a condition associated with cerebral palsy, a condition known as spastic diplegia. A spokesperson for the singer said she did not intend to use the word in a negative way. Another rapper, Lizzo, also removed the word from her song

In the wake of the scandal, Beyonce has changed the word in one of her latest songs. Beyonce has been known to drop offensive words from her music and has also had a long history of controversial rap lyrics. While it is unsurprising that a word like "hate" could spark controversy in a highly publicized pop star, many fans are disappointed by the timing.
